Pattern filled shapes

Pattern filled shapes are very easy to make and looks very impressive. Paint Shop Pro V4.1 is a very good program for this purpose.

Open or create the shape you want to be filled in Paint Shop Pro.
Create the picture in True Color or increase the number colors by selecting Colors, Increase Color Depth, 16 Millions (24 bit)
Open the picture which contains the pattern you want.
Select the Flood Fill icon in the Image Tools toolbar. In the Flood Fill toolbar, select Pattern under Fill Style. Press Options and select the pattern using the combobox.
Then just click on the shape and it will be filled with your pattern.

There is also another way to do it:
Create or open the picture containing the shape in Paint Shop Pro.
Select the Dropper from Image Tools. Right click the picture on the color to be filled.
Copy the image to the clipboard, Edit, Copy
Open the picture containing the pattern. It must be at least the size of the shape.
Select, Edit, Paste, As Transparent Selection. Move the shape around and click the mouse.

If you do not want the picture to be transparent, then save it in JPG format else save in Gif89a format. Note that GIF only supports 256 colors.
